Remarks & Notes
Cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 1 "Furkahorn" of Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) is pulling train 131 from Realp to Oberwald and is crossing the Rotten bridge in a grade of 11.0 %, just below Gletsch spiral tunnel. The locomotive was built by SLM in 1913 for the Brig-Furka-Disentis Railway (BFD), but sold in 1947 to "Chemins de fer français de l'Indochine" in Vietnam after electrification of the Furka-Oberalp Bahn. In 1990 the locomotive was brought back to Switzerland and is operational for the DFB since 1993.
