| For the last time of the 2011 season, the morning train from Oberwald is crossing the Furka pass to Realp. Till october 2, there is a reduced service on the line, then there is winter break. HG 3/4 4 of the former Furka Oberalp Bahn, then Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB), belongs to Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) since last year. The cars are from Brig Visp Zermatt Bahn (BVZ) and Furka Oberalp (FO) and renovated by DFB. The train is on a 11.0 % grade with cog wheel. |
