Remarks & Notes
Idled since Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene knocked out the Washington County Railroad's bridge over the White River in White River Jct., VT, the Vermont Rail System's White River Flyer is dwarfed by newly-arrived $6M AmQuip 400,000-lb capacity crante that will help repair the damaged bridge. Over 3,500 photos (and growing) that IMHO reveal the awesome, but seldom seen beauty of the railroad world because most of us are asleep. From dusk to dawn, lights are on! (And - I'm still finding lights to "switch on"!)
