| Disguised as "Clinchfield 675" using cardboard numbers, a wooden numberplate, and stick-on lettering, UP's 3985 is shown at Cheyenne one June night in 1988. This inspiration, dreamed up by some Appalachian-region railfans, became the inspiration for the 1992 run of the Challenger on CSX's 50th running of the Santa Claus Special. |
