| TVRM's Southern 630 leads an excursion train on the NS mainline as part of TVRM's 50th anniversary festivities. These trips were the first in conjunction with NS's new "21st Century Steam" program. The train was made up of coaches from NS's business car fleet, two cars leased from the Watauga Valley Chapter NRHS, and TVRM's commissary car. Trips originated at TVRM's Grand Junction station and ran over NS's Chattanooga Terminal and Knoxville West End districts to CT Tower in downtown, where the train was wyed. All excursions (a total of four over the course of the weekend) were well patronized and ran flawlessly. |
