| This is the first locomotive modified by Ferrosur Roca railway. It is a hybrid between General Electric U-18C (chassis, bogies, traction motors, fuel tank) and EMD (body shell EMD GP-35 ex Chesapeake and Baltimore and Ohio), Engine GM 12-567C, main alternator, etc). The locomotive is seen behind the new hybrid 8121 is a General Electric U-13C (very similar but smaller than the U-18C transformed in the "new" 8121. |
