One of the 14 British built 4-6-4Ts built by Beyer, Peacock & Co., originally from a batch of 40 destined for the Dutch State Railway but which were diverted to the ROD (Railway Operating Division) of the British War Dept in World War I, is seen after the war working for the Nord Railway of France. (See photo ID:208198 for a wartime view of one of these engines). Photo scanned from a post card sized glass negative taken by J. McCartney Robbins in c1922.
