| The suburb of Stourton on the eastern side of Leeds is not exactly photogenic. It is however one of the few places in the city where it is still possible to get quite close to the track without being hopelessly encumbered by the dreaded 'steel palisade fencing'. This awful, unsightly feature seems to be spreading along our railways faster than Japanese Knotweed along our riverbanks! Fortunately, a fine sunset and a fine locomotive add their ambience to the industrial backdrop. |
