Remarks & Notes
Union Pacific 6929 is seen here as part of a long power set leading a coal train into the Moffat Tunnel. Because of the exhaust these units put out, the Moffat Tunnel needs about twenty or thirty minutes of venting between each train. Some of these trains are working so hard, they end up reminding me of steam locomotives. UP is our eco friendly railroad.
