| Remarks & Notes |
| The Ilo-Toquepala railroad has many sharp curves, mostly on the upper half section where the builders of the line closely followed the mountainous terrain so as to avoid costly tunnels. Together with the grades - and other dangers such as rock falls -, this makes it a challenging railroad. The short GPs are better adapted to these curves than the two SD70s (#60 and 61), even though they have HTCR radial trucks. |
