Remarks & Notes
It has been 14 years since PRR 1361 was an operable locomotive and $1.7 million of federal taxpayer money has resulted in little progress of the restoration. The boiler was recently moved from Steamtown to the East Broad Top Railroad shops in Orbisonia where it is awaiting inspection. Many parts, including the cab and drivers, sit inside a building nearby on museum property.
