| With less than two minutes until midnight, westbound Danville loads silhouette the Sproul Jct. mast signal as they emerge from the Sproul Tunnel in dynamic braking. With much of the Coal River Subdivision in code line failure west of Sproul, this loaded coal train will pause for a half hour until a maintainer releases "local control" and informs the HE Dispatcher movements are authorized to proceed onward. Another night of railroading in Appalachia.. |
