Cut Loose Caboose: A few months ago, the barber I've been going to since moving to Issaquah relocated from his old storefront next to the Front Street Market; much to my surprise, Maurice set up shop in a restored caboose, fulfilling a long-time dream of his to operate the Cut Loose Caboose. The wood car was once GN X200, built in 1941 and retired in 1965; of course, since nothing having to do with railroads ever truly makes sense, it now sits next to an abandoned NP branch. The barber shop is located at 240 Gilman Blvd. and is open Mon-Sat during more-or-less standard business hours.
