| In one of my earlier succesful railway photos BR Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 No 92006 receives the finishing touches from the works painters after receiving a heavy general overhaul in Swindon Works when it was fitted with a double chimney. It was from the first batch of fithteen 9Fs built at Crewe in 1954 remaining in service until April 1967 - one of the longer lived members of its class. |
