| We were north of Toronto, ON, near Medonte, on May 29, 1980. We shot the first section of No. 80, a manifest. We then shot the second section of No. 80, primarily a ballast train. To our amazement, when the third section showed up, it was a CP track inspection vehicle, No. 297, filled with a bunch of "suits" inspecting the railroad. I would take this over a hi-rail vehicle any day of the week. I have never seen anything like it before or after. |
