Remarks & Notes
The innovative management of AOK has had to make business where there was none. Oklahoma coal mining is having a resurgence and the explosion (literally) of the gas industry has led to the construction of this facility for transferring "fracking" sand to trucks. It's used to aid in the fracturing of underground strata to release natural gas by setting off explosions. The sand is a very special type and helps increase the amount of fracturing of a given charge. Much of the sand is originated by Winchester and Western. Cab ride by invitation. By the way, this is on the route of the old Choctaw Rocket, oohrah!
