Steam meeting steam. The number of places in the US where this happens with any regularity are dwindlng slowly. I can think of just four....Osier, Silverton, Cass and this place...Groff's Grove, just outside Strasburg, PA. Here, the Strasburg Railroad's lightest locomotive, CN Mogul #89, hauls a mixed train westbound, while Great Western Decapod #90 heads for Paradise with the hourly passenger run. Little 89 is seldom seen in light like this, as she spends most of her time on the half hour trains at mid-day during the summer months. Fortunately, in 2010, the railroad trotted her out for service on the the mixed train during the annual Trains & Troops event in November, when the afternoon sun is just a little easier on the old girl's complexion!
