| I've only visited Peak Forest once before and that was back in February 2011 for the 'Buxton Spa Express' steam special. I was impressed both by the scenery and the railway activity at the huge limestone quarries that characterise this part of Derbyshire. This time the weather was much kinder as Class 66 No.66017 makes a colourful scene as the locomotive slowly propels its train of empty hoppers into the yards approaching the loading area. |
