| All good things come to an end and as the 80's drew to a close so too did the LS&I's wonderful operating diesel museum! The last operating RSD15 is spliced to the last operating U25C by a U23C at West Yard. This set was working the dock job on this day as Ex BN U30C's had taken over all the other jobs on the railroad. The 2404,2302,2501 shuffle ore loads and empties about, unaware that they will soon join the other Alco's and early U-boats in the retirement line. |
