| Konkan railway offers a unique service of transporting loaded trucks between a few fixed pairs of stations. Special ramps have been prepared on these stations for loading and unloading of the trucks on modified flat wagons. The service is known as Ro-Ro. In the above picture, a south-bound Ro-Ro, led by WDM-2 #17608 is crossing the Asurde viaduct near Chiplun. |
