Remarks & Notes

The daily Northown to Aberdeen train begins pulling out of the siding at Summit, SD. After arriving in town, and seeing the siding hadn't been used in more than a week, we figured we'd have to hurry to get to this photo location on the bank of Interstate 29. Fortunately, for us out of shape hikers, they were to meet a coal load for the Big Stone City, SD power plant.
