Remarks & Notes
After crawling over a broken rail, the very late Empire Builder is back on the move with a very rare(to this area) leader. Since Amtraks fleet of P42's have been plagued with problems, they've been sticking whatever they can find on their Builder trains. And it just so happens this ugly thing found its way east.

This train, which runs between Chicago and Seattle and Portland, takes its name from James J. Hill, who founded the Great Northern Railroad and extended it from Minnesota to the Pacific Coast.
