Westbound Ann Arbor Train No. 501 slowed to do some work at Thompsonville, MI on June 18, 1981 with four GP35s. I was amazed to see loaded tri-level auto racks in the train, and even more amazed to see them loaded on the "MV Viking" at Elberta. I would have never thought they would have fit, but they did.
