| On a rainy Saturday morning, UTA 1040, the last new acquisition of this type of Siemens light rail vehicle curves eastward from Main Street onto 4th South in downtown SLC. This train is entering the University Line at what is 'half a grand union' connection with six switches and three diamonds connecting and crossing over the two double track lines. This spot is an interesting place to watch light rail and cars move about in a busy part of Salt Lake City. |
