| Cause of a derailment? These Journal parts were found on the right of way about 50 yards in front of the Nine car derailment in Three Rivers, Michigan. The 302's tail end had just cleared the Prairie River Bridge at the Sauganash Golf Club just off of Lutz road when disaster struck. Eight of the cars are on their side and one is off the track but remained up-right. The apparent culprit is a bad journal on one of the cars however the incident is still under investigation. |
