Remarks & Notes

The westbound LS&I "3:00 PM Eagle Mills Yard Job" was passing the huge pellet stockpile for Empire Mine at Palmer, MI on June 6, 1983. The train, powered by three RSD12s, was enroute to Tilden Mine. Empire Mine was served by both LS&I and C&NW, while Tilden was served exclusively by LS&I.
