| The new 6-car doubledeck trainset RABe 511 001 "KISS" (Comfortable, Innovative, Speedy Suburban Train) made a heating test drive from StadlerRails Train Comissioning Centre in Erlen to Sargans and back on this day. This trains will replace the current loco hauled "Rheintal Express" on this line between St.Gallen and Chur in december 2011.
