| Remarks & Notes |
| On Sept. 3, 2010, I drove more than 100 miles to catch a Union Pacific passenger special along the scenic Leamington Cutoff, only to find out later it departed Salt Lake City several hours early. My trip wasn't completely in vain as I caught several freights in the area such as the West Colton, CA to North Platte, NE manifest. UP 5687 is a DPU trailing the MWCNP-02 while the head end power is barely visible in the distance along a short cut at the west switch to Lofgreen siding.
