Remarks & Notes
UP turbine 28 is on the shop track at Cheyenne while 8444 is taking on oil in preparation for a fan trip to Yoder, WY on June 1, 1968. The trip originated in Denver and 8444 pulled the train to Cheyenne where it was cut off and sent to the shop for service, allowing riders access to the shops, including three sets of turbines (numbers 15, 21 and 28).
