| Last Summer: With a train load of tourist, Georgetown Loop R.R. 2-6-2 No. 12 departs Georgetown, Colo. on August 15, 2010. Little did we know that the summer of 2010 would be the little narrow gauge prairie's last in Colorado, at least for a little while, as it heads to Iowa and the Midwest Central Railroad. In return, the Georgetown Loop will restore and use a former West Side Lumber Co. shay locomotive. |
