Cebollar is a siding and a tiny station in the middle of a beautiful landscape of volcanoes and "salares" (salt flats). This train is coming from the San Cristobal mines in Bolivia. It carries containers full of precious ore of various metals (silver, lead, zinc). It is going to the Pacific port of Mejillones for exportation. This is a vital transportation link for Bolivian exports and it works like a "land bridge".
