| Last year was a slow year on Donner for me. My timing was way off, I had to bump my time off by a week in which case proved to be a mistake. I missed some fairly large storms. However on this day it had been coming down heavily when 600 was captured plowing through Soda Springs. On this day, I left Bakersfield at 8pm, got to Yuba City at 1 or 2am, then Kevin Dorn drove me up to Donner for the day. I had almost no sleep but that particular day would prove to be the best in a very quiet winter for myself. |
