| The few remaining textile mills in the Calder valley have now been converted into smart apartments. By the last rays of a dying sun, Mirfield's Ledgard Bridge Mill stands sentinel over the cheerless 'bus shelter' that serves (judging by their absence) an obviously unappreciative general public. How very sad that our once proud railway should come to this. |
