| Yet another Baldwin locomotive built for service on the Western Front in World War I. Seventy of these small ten-wheelers, nicknamed 'spiders', were built in 1917-18 for the British Army. After the war they became class 40 of the Belgian National Railway. Photo by the late John P. Wilson. |
