| 50-some years ago, 1218 and 611 might have been found puffing along the N&W through Roanoke on any given night. In 2010, they are the stars of the show at the Lerro Productions Virginia Museum of Transportation shoot, but on the other side of the museum fence the N&W's legacy lives on as an empty coal train rolls into this railroad town from points east. |
