The rich golden Autumn colours outshine even the bright East Midlands DMU livery at Grindleford in beautiful North Derbyshire. Semaphores still rule here, controlled by Grindleford Box, lending something of the character of yesteryear to this scene. Even more of yesteryear can be seen on the left where the gable end of the recently restored Padley Chapel, a 14th century gem, overlooks the line.
