On the bridge
Located at kilometer 84, Puente Carrion is the biggest bridge of the line. It was built in 1937 by the Cleveland Bridge Company. It is 218 m / 715 ft long and 80m / 262 ft high. This is the third bridge at this location. The first one was destroyed in by a landslide in 1889. See also the pictures 341060, 308970 and 306180 for other views of the same bridge.
