| The sun has set, the passengers are off the train, and all that's left to do after today's round trip excursion from Roanoke to Bluefield, WV is reverse the special back into the yard. Note the dome cars up front going under the pedestrian walkway, and the old N&W office buildings on the right edge of the frame. Given the large crowd boarding the train in Roanoke for each of the weekend's trips, hopefully these rare mileage fall excursions will continue to be an annual event. |
