| On the final stretch home from Oregon's "Pendleton Roundup," UP 844 and protection power UP 8444 (that's pretty classy, UP) exit the unusual configuration of Tie Siding, and bend west toward Hermosa Tunnels. Next the locos and 18-car consist will crest Sherman Hill at 8015 feet before descending home to Cheyenne. |
