| Remarks & Notes |
| The red rear marker lights on SD40-2 are still on since the rear of the two-unit pusher set had shoved a unit coal train earlier in the afternoon. Now, after returning to the siding at Big Stone Gap, its second assignment---a Georgia Power coal train---passes before coming to a stop on the east side of the 19th Street crossing. After the switch is lined, the two SD40-2s will nuzzle up to the caboose and shove some 30 miles over three grades to Dan'lboone, VA. After that--the long trip home for the two man pusher crew. |
