150 Years Pontarlier-Neuchatel
The Pacific 01-202:
- Built in 1936 by Henschel und Sohn in Kassel, Germany for the Deutsche Reichsbahn.
- Service in Altstadt (1937-1944), Ludwigshafen (Rhein) (1944-1945), Würzburg (1945).
- Incoporated to the Deutsche Bundesbahn (Western Germany / Federal Republic of Germany) after WWII. Worked in Southern FRA: Frankfurt am Main (1945-1947), Darmstadt (1948-1948), Nürnberg (1948-1955), Würzburg (1955-1958), Nürnberg (1958-1959), Hof (1959-1975).
- Last service in the Hof region, most notably on the famous schiefe grade. Preserved in Switzerland since 1975. Kept in working order by "Verein Pacific 01 202" in Lyss.
