| Build in 1889, Bridge 85.54, one of the many bridges between Pullman and Colfax, has seen more history than our parents. It's 111 year railroading history is coming to an end as the last train prepares to cross the hidden landmark. WSDOT announced to the W&I Railway that the 15-mile Pullman-Colfax line will be abandoned in favor of a new connection farther north. The crew is sad to see the beautiful line disappear into history, but looks forward to the future of the new connection. |
