Rare Mileage? Likely treading where no passenger train has before, AMTK 818 tiptoes off Steamtown's front display track. The steam locos normally parked there had been moved elsewhere for asbestos abatement, opening up display space and a rare opportunity to see an Amtrak consist (with sleepers, no less) backing across the turntable and through the roundhouse and shop. It might not be Phoebe Snow's Road of Anthracite, but at least for one weekend, sleeper service returned to Scranton.
