Celebrity driver, Bill Andrews, has a bite to eat during a break at Hellifield station while driving LMS pacific no. 6233 Duchess of Sutherland on the Tyne Valley Tourer railtour on 18th September 2010. Bill, working for West Coast Railways, is the regular driver for the magnificent 6233. Now 75 years old, Bill is to finally retire at the end of October after he drives 6233 on her last main line tour before an overhaul which will last two years. Famous for creating some amazing loco performances, Bill will be missed by British steam enthusiasts.
