| The last of the evening sun had slipped behind the horizon and such colours as remained were rapidly draining away. Only my friend Ian and I remained, all the others in our party had (probably wisely) returned to the hotel to thaw out. Yet there is always time for one last image in the day and - if you can stand the intense cold - this is what you might have seen. |
