| Having been hauled by diesel loco from London to Gloucester, and having to temper their disappointment at the unavailability of A1 Tornado, the passnegers get a rousing demonstration of the pinnacle of UK steam locomotive design as 71000 'Duke of Gloucester' flattens the Lickey incline with a load of 13 coaches. It was helped in part by the diesel locomotive at the rear helping to shove it up the gradient. |
