The 300km/h Mega Rush
The temperature was 35°C and the storm eventually burst out over Paris as TGVs kept entering and exiting the busiest railroad spot in France on the eve of the July summer holidays. Here, we see an empty Duplex of the most recent "Dasye" technology belonging to the "700" series entering the Paris Gare de Lyon station. The train is composed of 2 sets coupled nose to nose. In a few dozen minutes it will leave Paris with a full load of 1090 passengers bound for some holiday destination in the south of France. All trains were fully booked and passengers were warned not to reach to the station to try taking a train if they had not already purchased a ticket as they would contribute to clog up the station without any hope of getting on a train.
