| More than one relic of New Hampshire railroading can be found in this shot. On the far right stands the ball signal that once governed movements at Waumbeck Junction on the B&M. On the far left sits the Conway Scenic's most recent acquisition, former Maine Central GP38 #252, which at one time was commonly found pulling freights through Crawford Notch on the famous Mountain Division. After wearing Guilford livery for many years, it is now back in a Maine Central-themed paint scheme. Completing the scene is former ST GP35 #216 (originally an N&W unit) which also now wears a Maine Central-themed paint scheme. |
