| English Electric Locomotive QR 1225 was originally numbered QR 1208, which entered revenue service in March 1954, and was rebuilt and renumbered by QR at Redbank Workshops in January 1985. I believe it was used by Emergency Services for an exercise in 2003. This Locomotive is now owned by Queensland Diesel Restoration Group and stored at Redbank Workshops. It will soon be transferred to Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway (QPSR) for restoration to her former glory. |
