| 4. My first days drive was planned to end at Sully Springs, ND. I wanted to catch some morning trains through the North Dakota Badlands which borders Theodore Roosevelt National Park. While here I also planned on shooting the night away. I caught this coal train snake it's way though the hills while the oil well kept on pumping off in the distance. This location is in middle of nowhere and is dead quite at this hour. I could hear the train approach from miles away. The quite was soon filled with noise from this machine as the steel wheels glided down the cold steel and took the noise with it. |
